Cary FBC Mission Trip 2008
Copiapo for Christ

For the second year in a row, Cary First Baptist Church of North Carolina, has sent a mission team to Copiapo, Chile to work with the "Copiapo for Christ" evangelistic project. This year they worked primarily with First Baptist Church, Copiapo and their missions in Balmaceda and El Palomar.

The work they did during the week before Easter ("Semana Santa" in Chile) has opened doors for missionaries Kip and Iva Kimbrough to be able to enter schools and help with English classes - building relationships not only with students but also with teachers.

The Bible Clubs were a huge success with attendance from 30-60 children, youth and adults. Many of those children also attended Sunday School on Easter Sunday.
